WHAT IS VULPEX ?
WHO?
That's me. A guy who likes to learn new things, try out and challenge himself. Who loves to meet new people, characters, cultures, but also likes to be creative with some good music alone in his shop. Ex-cop, good cook, nature lover with bad time management and a little splash of humorous crazyness.
I love drawing / sketching, good food, nice poeple with character, travelling the world and retro stuff.
A normal, kind guy from next door with contrasts and the desire to create beautiful, high-quality and unique things that you can pass on with proud to your next generations.

WHAT?
Different types of craftsmanship. This includes primarily knives and all items for outdoor, survival, kitchen and EDC. But also things such as jewelry, woodwork, art or just indefinable aesthetic objects, manufactured in the for me highest possible quality, individuality, and longevity, in my very own, unique style.
Iam a big fan of valuable and precisly crafted objects with soul and a real use, combined with a good mix of different materials in well balanced contrasts.
Materials like copper, titanium, walnut wood and carbon fiber are just a few of those that i really like to use in my projects.
WHERE?
Everything started in the garden of my first apartment, close to my first police station in Bavaria / Germany.
I bought an anvil and all the necessary / important "starter-kit" tools, learned welding and built a small field forge that I blew with a discarded toilet fan and used some truck spring steel from a local scrap yard to make my first "knives".
I saved up money for more tools and machines, and soon moved into a small "workshop", owned by an old, local potato farmer.
Over the past 10 years, not only did my inventory / workshop grow, but so did my will making my own and full custom knives.
Life situations changed, and today the brand "VULPEX" and its foxes den (my workshop) is located in a small town close to Berlin / Germany.
